Finally, a reality show I'll actually watch!

AUSSIE rockers The Veronicas are in serious talks with MTV about launching their own reality TV series in the US.

Confidential has learned the show would be a behind-the-scenes look at their international assault on the music scene, in which this week the twins nabbed a top 10 single in the UK.

Sisters Lisa and Jess Origliasso are on the cusp of signing on the dotted line for the documentary-style program.

“I can’t say too much about it but if we do it we’d have to make it our way,” Lisa said.

“We are not interested in doing some crappy staged thing just to get ourselves on TV.

“We have to be into it and it has to be a genuine reflection of our lives and who we are.”

The pair are no strangers to being followed by cameras. Apart from the paparazzi, the pair filmed 10 “webisodes” last year while touring the US with squeaky-clean Christian act The Jonas Brothers.

The timing for the show is also perfect with their 40-concert Revenge is Sweeter tour kicking off in New York tomorrow.

Their relationship with MTV blossomed after the popettes pre-recorded a New Year’s Eve broadcast for the cable network late last year and negotiations have been going since.

Besides their chart-topper Untouched hitting No. 8 yesterday on the UK pop charts - their first taste of British success - it has been a dramatic six months for the duo.

The girls have performed on 90210 and at the Miss USA pageant in April, gaining overnight recognition following years of hard work in Australia.
